Hey there, VTuber fans! Have you ever heard of MyVT, the Malaysian VTuber community? Well, let me tell you, it’s a wild ride, full of growth, collaboration, and fun times. Back in 2019, MyVT was founded by Eri James and a few other Malaysian VTubers, such as Eisu, Okami CoreGX, Ennori (now separated as EN Kaien and Akitsuki Inori), and Slayza V.Y. The goal was simple: create a hub for Malaysian VTubers to find each other and collaborate on some sick content.
And boy, did it work! MyVT grew and grew, with new groups popping up left and right, like MayaAxis, SweabsMY, and Tadano Family. Pretty soon, it seemed like everyone who was anyone in the Malaysian VTuber scene was part of MyVT. And it wasn’t just individual VTubers either. Official groups and agencies from Malaysia, like Otafuse, Pasar Virtual Entertainment, Projek Hikayat, Hoshizora Entertainment, Project Orbit, and more, got involved with MyVT. It was like a big ol’ VTuber family reunion, and everyone was invited.
By the end of 2020, the MyVT name had become synonymous with the entire Malaysian VTubing community. Whenever a VTuber or group of Malaysian VTubers were involved in events and conventions, you better believe the MyVT name was getting thrown around. But here’s the coolest part: anyone can be a part of MyVT! If you’re Malaysian by origin or just love supporting Malaysian VTubers, you can consider yourself part of the MyVT community. It’s like being a citizen of Malaysia, but for VTubers. And let me tell you, it’s a pretty great place to be.
So, there you have it, folks. MyVT may have started as a simple idea, but it’s grown into something truly special. It’s a place where VTubers can come together to create amazing content, where fans can support their favorite creators, and where everyone is welcome. So, what are you waiting for? Come join the MyVT family today!
